Why do your products not come sealed?

All of our products are handmade in small batches therefore they never sit on our shelves for long. We encourage our clients/customers to think of their skincare similar to how they might think about healthy food: ingredients are at their best when fresh and not heavily preserved. As a company we put a lot of effort into limiting the amount of waste from our products for sustainability purposes and therefore, we have chosen not to use plastic seals. (We also forgo using exterior boxes and use glass bottles instead of plastic.) Our products will be good for 2 years from the manufacturing date, if unopened, the expiry date is on the bottom of the bottle in the format (MM/YY-BATCH#) Once you open your product, we suggest you use within 6 months.
